Rob brings 18 years experience launching and running media businesses in the technology sector. Prior to D/SRUPTION Rob was commercial director on the respected industry title, Internet Retailing, for 10 years, after launching it and growing it to become an invaluable powerhouse of events, shows, awards, research and resources for digital retailers. Rob is motivated by bringing together industry experts to push boundaries of knowledge, and disseminating game-changing technological insight to the business community.
Tania worked for media owners such as Marketing Magazine, Daily Telegraph and Evening Standard before moving into marketing consultancy across a wide range of industry sectors. Her interest in digital transformation and technologies lead her to founding and selling a disruptive eCommerce business, and heading up marketing for tech startups such as FutureLearn. She has an MBA from Ashridge and a Diploma in Digital Business from the Academy of Digital Business Leaders.
Kev is our Chief Creative Officer & Publishing Director.
He works with leaders and experts from some of the world’s largest businesses, brands and academic institutions, alongside innovators, disruptive start-ups, scale-ups, and emerging challengers, to collaborate, discover, develop and share ideas and insights.
An experienced leader, editor, and commentator – he helps our contributors shape their work and our team devise new projects.
His diverse experience and appetite for knowledge – plus the ability to bring them together in useful and unique ways brings great value. Kev presents well reasoned points of view that get you thinking differently.
His focus is on design, innovation, culture, technology, and disruption – and their impact on business, society, and life. He is often found talking about things like – business, innovation, design, purpose, creativity, futures thinking, language, context, culture, communication, experiential design, behavioural economics, brands, identity and the power of knowledge sharing to effect positive change.
Laura is a researcher and writer who began working with D/SRUPTION as an intern in 2015. She has written for a number of publications including technology blog Mind the Horizon, and was News Editor of student magazine The Yorker. She studied BA History at the University of York.
Sarah studied Philosophy and French at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford. She has a Masters degree in Creative Writing from Oxford Brookes University, and recently completed the MA in Medieval Studies at the University of York. A writer and content editor, she previously held a Marketing role for a Sports Insurance business.
Ian has over 30 years experience in senior executive roles in the social housing/impact space. His interest has been around collaborative innovation, in particular through experiential learning of going into high performing, disruptive businesses to see what makes them what they are. He builds community’s of interest and connects them with leaders and organisations to make a difference to the societies they work with. He has led programmes into the likes of Apple, Google, Microsoft, John Lewis, Metrobank, Amazon Web Services, The Eden Project, The Community Shop, Brompton bicycles, AO.com. He also runs the Disruptive Innovators Network a boutique network for social housing CIOs.
