Forging A New Future For DisruptionHub

An Open letter from Rob Prevett, founder of DisruptionHub

Dear reader,

We launched Disruption back in 2015 with the aim of helping organisations deepen their understanding of disruption, and what it takes to succeed in the digital economy. In a short time we’ve become a trusted partner for many of the UK’s leading organisations. We’ve published over 1,500 articles, curated over 30 events and launched the Disruption50 Index identifying and indexing the UK’s most disruptive organisations.

In 2018 we were acquired and proud to become part of technology services business The Panoply Group Plc, supporting their goal of combining specialism and entrepreneurial drive with scale and broader capabilities. As part of The Panoply we’re fortunate enough to work alongside some of the brightest minds in design, technology and data.

These last five years have been the beginning of an amazing journey. I’m very proud of what we achieved with Disruption in highlighting the value of digital transformation and the need for change. That said, it has become very clear to me that if we really want to support organisations through the huge challenges and opportunities to come, we need to adapt, develop and change.

Over the coming weeks you’ll be seeing some big changes happening at Disruption. Before we start to implement these changes I wanted to let you know what we are doing, why and what to expect from us in the future.

Forging a new future

Clearly Covid-19 has caused a disruption far bigger than any of us could possibly have imagined and one that will re-shape the economy for years to come. When you combine the legacy of a global pandemic with a fast changing data and technology landscape it is obvious that organisations need radical change if they are to survive and thrive in the years ahead.

We believe that digital is central to the UK’s recovery. But understanding and applying the right solutions is not an easy task. Each problem is unique, with its own set of challenges. Each solution requires the right team and a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved.

With all this in mind we’ve been working with the founders and leaders of companies across The Panoply Group to develop a new proposition bringing together our combined capabilities into one entity.

I’m excited to announce the launch of Foundry4, a foundry for the digital age combining the thought leadership and insights of DisruptionHub with the the consulting and delivery expertise of Arthurly (Cloud and Engineering), and Notbinary (Data, Cloud, and Engineering ), all supported by the scaled engineering teams of Questers

By combining the experience of pioneering founders with leading industry expertise, and high performing teams, Foundry4 has been developed to help ambitious organisations across all sectors to shape the future.

We’re here to unlock the potential of technology, delivering transformative change with precision and pace.

Offering a fresh approach to digital transformation, we will not only help you to think differently through our insights, but we will now partner with you to design and build organisations fit for 2020 and beyond.

What next?

Over the next four weeks DisruptionHub, Notbinary and Arthurly will come together under the new Foundry4 brand. In the months ahead further organisations will join this exciting new venture.

We will continue to produce the high quality editorial articles, reports and events you’ve come to expect from DisruptionHub, but under the new brand of Foundry4. Adding to this you’ll now benefit from our 400 strong network of experts to help you drive growth and deliver sustainable change through the Foundry4 Services division specialising in:

  1. Data and Intelligence
  2. Engineering Excellence
  3. Product Design and Build
  4. Intelligent Automation
  5. User Experience
  6. Platforms and Integration

As our community you’ll continue to receive regular newsletters with the latest articles, reports, and webinars all under the new brand of Foundry4. Disruption will live on through the Disruption50 Index which will return in October and our ongoing Disruption North programme in partnership with Bruntwood SciTech.

Thank you

As we transition to Foundry4 I want to thank you, our community, for all of your support in getting us to where we are today. I know that many of you have been championing us since we launched, something I hope you will continue to do as we evolve into Foundry4. We believe today more than ever in the need for change and the value of digital first organisations and I’m excited that we can now go that step further to supporting you on that journey.

We look forward to working with you and will be in touch soon with further updates.

Many thanks

Rob Prevett
